This spring, Phoenix is the perfect destination for a variety of fun and exciting activities. From the Desert Botanical Garden and the Phoenix Museum of Art to hikes and more, there are plenty of things to do in the area. The Phoenix Museum of Art has been a popular attraction for over 50 years, showcasing more than 400 national and international exhibitions. OdySea Aquarium is the largest aquarium in Arizona, with 370 species and 65 exhibits.
Visitors can explore two interactive stingray displays, a pool with a tactile touch, and the world's only tactile exhibition of Russian sturgeons. However, some tactile exhibits may be temporarily closed. The museum also features works from 30 multigenerational artists from the Caribbean and across North, South and Central America. These works are made from natural and organic materials and are inspired by indigenous traditions, Afro-Caribbean religious beliefs, and the traumas of colonial oppression. The museum also offers an extensive film program, live performances, educational programs for visitors of all ages, and vibrant photographic exhibitions. The Maricopa County Air Quality Department (MCAQD) has designed an independent tool to complement air quality education initiatives.
The Piper Charity Fund and the Joan Cremin Exhibition Donation Fund have provided additional support for these initiatives, along with the Kimpton Hotel Palomar. So if you're looking for something fun to do this spring in Phoenix, you won't be disappointed. From exhibits at the Desert Botanical Garden and the Phoenix Museum of Art to hikes and more, there's something for everyone in Maricopa County.
